Naruto Shippuuden on DVD

Studio Pierrot has announced that they will begin releasing the Naruto Shippuuden anime series on DVD, with the release of volume 1 on August 1st 2007.

Volume 1 will include the first 4 episodes of the series. First edition copies will come with a special box to hold the first 4 DVDs in the series, and a special post card. Cover art has yet to be released, but a promotional image can be seen on the pre-order link provided below.

Like with the original Naruto DVD releases in Japan, the Shippuuden DVDs will not include subtitles of any kind, and will only work on Region 2 (or region free) DVD players.
