VIZ Speeds up Naruto Manga
Amazon has updated their Naruto manga listings with release dates for a bunch of new Naruto manga volumes. It appears that VIZ will be throwing away their traditional release method of 1 volume every 2 months, and rushing through nearly ten whole volumes. Here's the current shedule:
Volume 14 = May 1st, 2007 Volume 15 = July 3rd, 2007 Volume 16 = September 4th, 2007 Volume 17 = September 4th, 2007 Volume 18 = Septemper 4th, 2007 Volume 19 = October 2nd, 2007 Volume 20 = October 2nd, 2007 Volume 21 = October 2nd, 2007 Volume 22 = November 6th, 2007 Volume 23 = November 6th, 2007 Volume 24 = November 6th, 2007

That's actually pretty cool of them to do. Hopefully the same will be done with other series now and again.

It's about frickin' time. They were pissing about with Naruto so damn much. It was 1 volume every 3 months i believe. It's weird because Naruto is one of their bigger titles yet they moved so darn slowly, yet with Bleach they are releasing them frequently and nearly caught up already with where the Manga is currently in Tankoubon form.
I think the main reason why they are speeding up is because they are starting to fall pretty far behind the Anime. Seems logical to me.
