Not really, I liked the look of it, Naruto actually dying, I thought he actually would die and some alternate stuff would happen, but that's not the case, dissapointed me, really.

EDIT: For what's worth that DJ Ozma tune was awesome btw.

But alternate stuff does happen. The Konoha ninja don't know that Naruto is alive so from their point of view, they act differently which could equal some interesting events. But from Naruto's point of view, not a lot is different.

Wonder if he actually dies, or whether its just some weird "soul trapped elsewhere or something" thing. Seems as though he appears to die, and then we have them all coming to attack and rescue, lose their fights then turn it around at the end miraculously.

Would be good if he did actually die. Not because I hate him, but becuase it would be something different for a change.That chick in it also looks like the one from the fillers, the first couple of episodes.

I don't think Naruto dies as he has the Nine Tails which would refuse Naruto from dying. What i can understand from what we know with this film is that Naruto and the others fight some organization but Naruto loses at some point and is lost leaving behind traces of his blood and his head band. His friends fall to believe that Naruto was killed and make a grave for him in Konoha. Naruto is left for dead but some girl who is fighting for the same cause comes along and rescues him from near death, which then the two of them stick together. Eventually the Konoha ninja: Sakura, Lee, Neji and whoever else is part of the casting end up fighting the group again and Naruto makes his grand return and probably wins with a Rasengan like he does in all the other films.
That's what i think happens anyway.

Sounds along the lines of what I was thinking as well... he can't die due to Kyuubi. Super cool re-entry, winning rasengan and having all of the other characters look at him in awe. Still watch it though >_>

Holy shit am I late to the party. I just found this topic, and MAN I'm excited now. I can't wait for this movie.

I hope it IS Akatsuki that they fight. That would be so awesome. Unlike the DBZ movies, the Naruto movies have really lame, uninteresting, uncool bad guys that, as Jammy put it, end up getting defeated by Naruto with Rasengan.

I seriously hope this one is different.

If you see the movie trailers you see a lot of whats going on. Only thing they don't make you see is if he dies at the middle or the end so like ppl said earlier.... he could just come back to life. with the adv's ep's of naruto out i dont think hes going to die. He still needs to fine the long lost dick head that left.... lol..... all-in-all i wanna see the next fight between them to.

Just popped in here and read the comments, but it doesn't look like anyone's actually explained what really happens with the movie now being out ---

Basically to sum it up

The girl character in the movie can see the future and sees Naruto die. They work together to change Naruto's future and save his life. End.

Really if you see the movie it doesn't seems to much like he'll actually die or he is dead. Since the preminition thing happens very early in the movie. It's that trailer that ruins it.
