Studio Pierrot has announced it's plans to release the third Naruto movie (entitled: Great Excitement! The Animal Riot of Crescent Moon Island) on DVD. This is the final Naruto movie to take place before the new Shippuuden storyline, and has yet to see a release outside of theaters -- meaning this is the first chance fans have to see the movie outside of theaters in Japan.
The 3rd Naruto movie DVD will hit stores April/25/2007, and like all the other releases will contain no subtitles. First edition copies will include a special Naruto themed figurine(s) with the DVD. Please note that this DVD is Region 2 and NTSC -- make sure your TV/DVD player can support these. Click here to pre-order this DVD. It is also rumored that the 4th Naruto movie (or rather, the first Shippuuden movie) will cover the Kakashi Gaiden arc from the Naruto manga. This has yet to be confirmed, but if Studio Pierrot does anything like they did with the previous 2 movies it's likely they will announce the plans for the 4th movie around the release of this DVD.

Shame that this movie sounds and looks like a load of smeg. If it's anything like that filler episode with the rich kid Naruto has to protect, then oh dear. But hey i'll watch this when it gets subbed and put online after it's DVD release anyway.
Now if Movie 4 is the Kakashi Gaiden arc, then that would be awesome and definitely worth seeing.
