As I posted back on July 7th: "everyone's asking "when will the filler end?, when will the filler end?". Well, nobody knows because noone involved with the creation of the Narutoanime has said. But, if I had to guess I'd say Episode 200! Doesn't that seem like a nice even number to stop at (err, start at)? Hmm, we'll have to wait and see [^_^]."

Earlier today, the "Anime News Network" claimed that this is actually true, and the filler will end at Episode 200. They have absolutely nothing to back this claim up, and a few hours later "announced" several more episode titles; This time for several episodes in the 300s. Here's all the episodes titles they released:

200. Konoha's Yellow Flash Appears!
201. Kakashi Break Down! The Sharingan Awakens
202. Oh Hinata this is the way a man should be. *Hinata opens Gates*
206. The Second Bell Test! Naruto and Sakura fail again?!
275. Lee's Shocking confession, This is NOT the way a man should be
300. Youth explodes! Konohamaru squad vs Akatsuki!
345. Hate Me, Detest Me: Sasuke vs. Itachi!
347. I've always... loved you...' Sasuke's confession!

I don't know who maintains that part of their website, but it's clear they (or a member with access to it) is just pulling a prank to fool everyone. This isn't the kind of thing I usually bother posting, but a number of websites have (for some reason) claimed this to be true -- not giving out the correct information.

UPDATE: And if you still have doubts, the following message has just been added their website:

"ANIMENEWSNETWORK IS HORRIBLE, HOW CAN YOU LET USERS EDIT EPISODE TITLES??? Naruto moves to an OldFolks home. Sakura begins Menopause. Sasuke begins taking Viagra. Konohamaru Gaiden STARTS!"



Oh, and I got the cords I needed for Ultimate Ninja, so expect some great media in the next few days.
