Last night, Toonami launched a new website called Toonami Jetstream. The website allows you to watch anime episodes online (in English, legally). So far they have the first episode of Naruto, as well as a few other animes -- Hikaru no Go, MÄR, Megas XLR, Prince of Tennis and Samurai Jack.
The only downside seems to be that the anime episodes eventually expire from the website, so you should watch them as soon as you can. This looks to be a promising service, and I hope there will be more shows and episodes added soon. ![]() Click here to visit Toonami Jetstream. |

Since when Megas XLR was an anime? o.o
EDIT: Back on topic. I just saw the first few minutes of Hikaru no Go on it. Not bad, at least they kept the original soundtrack intact, and I don't see much from Hikaru that could be seen as objectionable, even considering the sheer multitude of strict censorship laws we Americans have to endure..other than the occasional smoking, of course, but they've shown Asuma with cigarettes before, but then again, that kid-forgets name- was smoking, which is..um...an entirely different issue altogether when compared to adults(or old men...haha) doing it, which might be seen as advocation of..ah, never mind. Not like I don't expect Hikaru to be screwed as much as Naruto or One Piece, but..considering just how badly they butchered the aforementioned shows, that might just be as much of a possibility as it being not screwed around with...I'll stop. Gee, I've said a mouthful. |

I saw a commerical about The Toonami Jetstream on Cartoon Network not too long ago, thought about checking it out, but have been too lazy to type it into my "Address", thus I don't have to seeing as I can get there from here.
After looking around at it, I can say it looks better then most things Toonami has done in the past few years, at least those that I've saw. Maybe this is a sign of something greater to come, like it coming back to weekdays, but I won't be setting my hopes too high.
