Hello everybody again! I'm here to bring you the latest news on what has been happening these past few months on the forum. In this news bit you'll find out about the following things, or if you've been following along with us, then this'll be like a review for you.

Fan-atude! Results - The Fan-atude! contest was held back in early June and turned out to be a major success. The following is what the Staff decided was doable and are checking into some of them as we speak. Along with us still checking into some of them, others on the list have already begun and/or are finished. For example old posts from Invision Power Board have been converted over. MFG Banner Contest - The whole Staff would like to thank Jammy, Vivi, Gogeaton, dizzyegg05, Goku, Kei, and Engel on participating in our MFG Banner Contest. In which case the winning banner of Gogeaton is already viewable at the top of this page. There were a number of great entrees, but unfortunately only one could win. Great job everybody!

Updating Ranks - User Ranks have been updated thanks to our Legendary Staffer, Duo taking the time out of his busy daily schedule and coming up with a more civilized ranking system. The ranks still deal with DragonBall Z, but afterall we are a major DragonBall Z site.

New Era of the RPG - A new day and age has already started in our RPG area. Be sure to check this out, but be forwarned that we are currently having some problems getting into the RPG area, so if an error message pops up just click on the links to the sub-forums you wish to visit on the main index page of the forum. We are looking into this problem as we speak.

Invision Power Board Posts Recovery - As I briefly mentioned in the Fan-atude! Results, Ace has successfully converted all the old Invision Power Board posts over to Community Server. However, if you didn't have an account on this current version then your old account does exist just with a dot in front of your Username. (Ex: .Superior) If you remember your old password you can get into that account and change your Display Name, but you'll always have to login with the dot version of your name.

Forum Arrangement - The forum has completely been re-done making the visit much easier and pleasant to Users. We no longer have a great deal of sub-forums, things have been condensed greatly. Go check it out, it is worth your time and effort! (Plus it is only one click away. =P )

Revival of Fan Fictions - A thanks to Punxx goes out for the revival of the fan fictions area. It now sprouts a new name, Creative Writing, but all sorts of writing can now go in there, ranging from Poems to Original Writings, to just about anything. Punxx has done a great job in helping kick start it. And the Post Conversion has helped it out as well.

Staff Promotions / Demotions - The MFG Staff has been heavily re-done with Ace's Staff Review. You'll be seeing new Staff coming, and old Staff going. Go check out who made the cut, who didn't, and who decided to move along to make room for new, fresh youngsters.

No posting MFG stuff on Wikipedia - Ace and Goku have gotten this well underway. We are asking that nothing from MFG goes up on Wikipedia for various reason's. If it gets used, we'll have Wikipedia take it down, so please, just don't add any of it to Wikipedia. We thank you.

With that comes the end to MFG's 2nd Address. Be on the look out for another within the next two months or so. Looking forward to seeing and hearing from everybody!

Everything looks good so far. I would like to see some things being actually "completed" instead of always listing things to be completed. It looks good though, nice address Sups.

I still think merging Sports, Video Games, Music, and Television forum into one with the Lounge was a horrible mistake. And all the Coffee table topic is doing is killing activity within the actual forum. Take a look at other sites with forums such as, "General Discussion". All random threads are started, and that's what boosts the activity/traffic. Not posting what you did today in a topic that people don't really reply to your post in. I say merge Television, Music, and Video Games into a forum called "Entertainment Section". Keep Sports, in a sub-forum like that, and then "General Discussion" for topics such as, "Do you make sure you buy non-Chinese products?" or "Guess what I seen today..."

Just my thoughts, I don't know if posting it in here was the best thing, although it was an address so hopefully this will make it onto one of your "addresses" to do.

EDIT: Just seen your post in the Coffee table, Sups. Looks like we basically have the same point in mind.

That shouldn't stop you from posting about the thing you want to talk about in the General Forum. Hell, that should encourage you to do just that. You make enough topics and they get enough replies then it's bound to wind up with it's own section. Like One Piece (Ignoring the fact how it spiraled and died).
Don't be overwhelmed by the weird and probably pointless Lulz that took over that section either.

I get where you're coming from Maverick. I mean since when did it change that the MFG Lounge was a place for spam again? I see way too many topics that shouldn't even be in there. Kind of a reason I tried to get its name changed to something else. Run your Entertainment idea past Ace, maybe he'll change it then because as of now people are spamming in their for posts/points, or at least that is the way I see it.

You misunderstand our 'spam'
We are just trying to have fun, or possibly, to be annoying. Not to earn points or posts. Now when we have something to spend said points on, then we'll spam for them.
