Dragonball Z Sparking! METEOR

In the latest issue of V-Jump it was announced that a new Dragonball Z Sparking! video game will be released sometime this autumn in Japan, titled "Sparking! METEOR".

Dragonball Z Sparking! METEOR will be released on both the Playstation 2 and the Wii, with English/North American releases for both systems set to hit stores during the 2007 holiday season -- renamed Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Improving upon last year's game with over 150 playable characters, enhanced fighting techniques, refined effects and shading techniques, making each character's effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages.

In addition, an improved control system for the Wii will allow players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the DBZ series. The currently announced new characters in the game are Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta. The environments have also been enhanced to feature day and night stages. The power of the moon in the night stages gives players additional ways to transform their characters and lets fans recreate some of their favorite memories from the show.

yeah the game sounds ok but not much new if you got the last DBZ game on the Wii there's no reason to get this one. They either need to make a new story line for the DBZ characters or add some new characters we've never seen or less DBZ wont be able to live at all any more.

I agree with the above. Unless the game makes any drastic changes, I might not buy this game. At least they finally added KingVegeta, but I'm going to expect much of a difference. I don't want to raise my hopes for nothing.

jesus christ! :P this is basicly the... 6th budokai! lmao

i have all the dbz games, budokai 1-3 and both tenkaichis, i liked budokai1-3 i completed them completely. tenkaichi was a change, bt the controls were 2 hard and made the game unfun. so i jst completed most of the storey line.
and finaly dbz tenkaichi 2, well i didnt even get to the frieza saga b4 sending it bak to the store :P

im mostly upset that it wont be on the ps3, at least with the ps3 its a new console to explore and could take tenkaichi to a new level maybe?
