Japanese Dragonball DVDs 7-9

TOEI Animation has just released the DVD covers for the next three "Dragonball Individual Dragon Box Set DVDs"; Volumes 7, 8, and 9. Like always, the covers feature all-new original artwork by TOEI Animation. Each of these DVDs covers 6 episodes and costs ¥3,990 (approximately $32.85 USD). This month's releases (Volumes 7-9) will cover episodes 37-54 of the Japanese Dragonball anime series, and will release in Japan on June/06/2007. If you're interested in purchasing them we suggest you try Amazon.co.jp (slightly cheaper, but with only customer account info, and order form pages in English) or CDJapan.co.jp (completely in English).

Please understand that these DVDs have NO English dialogue and NO English subtitles -- these releases are of the original Japanese Dragonball anime series. They are also NTSC/Region 2 DVDs, so make sure your TV/DVD setup can support this. The quality of the video and audio has been beautifully remastered and restored in cooperation with TOEI Animation themselves.

Basically, these DVDs are a re-release of TOEI Animation's "Dragon Box" sets. Since the Dragon Boxes were a extremely limited release, they're now re-releasing the series in individual DVDs (without all the extras) so those who missed out on the Dragon Boxes can still own the series.
