Dr. Slump Quality Comparisons

To kick-off our new Dr. Slump screenshots section I've gone ahead and added a "Quality Comparison" section to our Dr. Slump images category. Basically it has a handful of screenshots from the opening theme in the first episode taken from both the new Dr. Slump DVD box set, and one of my old fansubs.

The image on the left is from the fansub, and the image of the right from the DVD box set. Notice not only the difference in quality (grain, colors, etc), but the extra picture around the edges. The original Dr. Slump anime series began TV syndication in Japan in 1980.

Damn that is quite the improvement but I guess thats what can be expected from dvds box sets.
