New DB Animation: Nippon Ijin Taisho `07

Yesterday on Fuji TV, an all-new 10 minute Dragonball original animation entitled "Nippon Ijin Taisho 2007" was broadcast. The segment featured a new Tenkaichi Budokai which would decide Japan's greatest person from throughout history. The competitors were: Saito Musashibo Benkei, Himiko, Prince Shotoku, and Amakusa Shiro --- with Prince Shotoku as the winner.

The tournament features commentary by Goku and (actual Fuji TV announcer) announcer Masaharu Miyake from atop Goku's Flying Nimbus. All competitors are actual people from Japanese history, biographies of them can be found at Wikipedia by clicking on the following links: Saito Musashibo Benkei, Himiko, Prince Shotoku, and Amakusa Shiro. All I have to say to that is...wow. And on a side note, Sharky, do you know whether or not the artwork for these character's was done by Toriyama?

I don't know the level of Toriyama's involvement, but I do know that the actual animation/drawings were not done by him.
