Monday Screenshot Update! Weeks 39-40
You know the drill --- It's Monday, and that means MFG has updated parts of the image gallery with brand new anime screenshots for everyone to enjoy. This week we have screenshots from: Dragonball GT, Busou Renkin, Death Note, Kochikame, and One Piece.
As requested by forum member Dbgohan08 (one of the winners from our "Monday Request"), this Monday's update includes screenshots from the 46th episode of Dragonball GT (entitled: Raising the Stakes /// Crash!! Super Goku 4 vs Super #17). The manga is the longest (in material, not age) manga ever ---- and is still going! We've posted about the manga several times here on MFG, so for more information on it please see our previous posts. Anyways, the anime, which started back in 1996 ran for over 300 episodes, and until 2 months ago had never seen a DVD release in or out of Japan. In December, 3 DVDs were released, each containing 4 episodes from various points in the series. Unfortunetely the video was not remastered. But even so, it looks quite good. Non-remastered DVD video is always going to look better than non-remastered VHS or TV-rip video -- no matter what the age. What also makes these screenshots important is the fact that images for this series simply don't exist on the internet. With just this 1 episode of screenshots, MFG has become the largest Kochikame gallery ever to exist (by far). More episodes of this series are available for request. The Monday Request!!!: What will I be doing screenshots for next update? That's for you to decide! Simply post a comment to this post on our forums, and the first two people who post a comment (which includes their request) wins! Just read the following paragraph first! Since the entire Movie Dragon Box has now been completed, we will be moving over to the Dragonball GT Dragon Box (as well as adding in a few new animes!). I will only accept two requests (1 request per person) for two of the following features/episodes listed below:
** We will move over to the Dragonball Dragon Box with the completion of the DBGT Dragon Box. If you're request is one of the movies/episodes listed above (and you're one of the first two people to make a request), then we'll have DVD / Dragon Box-quality screenshots of it up next Monday! I honestly don't care much for anime versus topics, I also don't care if people like them, in the long run most of them are pretty retarded and the only good ones have already been done before. Just enjoy a series for what it is, instead of being "MY CHARACTER IS MUCH STRONGER THAN YOURS." Currently watching: Code Geass [shit sux, mostly] and Xam'd: Lost Memories [Go watch this if you want an actual good anime this season, srsly.] |
