Tsutaya has revealed the cover art for the upcoming "Harukanaru Goku Densetsu" (Dragonball Z ????????) Nintendo DS DBZ game. Scheduled to hit stores in Japan on 2007/3/21, there's currently no word of an English release.

New Zealand Update: About half of our stuff arrived here in NZ last week, and we expect the rest to come sometime this week. So I do have my computer now, but I don't have a desk or table to put it on!! Currently it's sitting on the floor, which is very uncomfortable (also, one of the wheels on my computer chair broke off during shipment ).

Unfortunetely there will not be an update this Monday. I've just found out that will be the day the rest of my stuff arrives.
I might be able to get it done in time for the Monday after that, too early to know how things will be working out. I'll make sure to keep you guys up-to-date on that though.

Wow one of the first DBZ Game Covers that I like. Is this like a RPG type game like Buu's Furry or another fighting game?
If i remember correctly, this game is an RPG in which you use cards to battle with. Like that DBZ game on the Gameboy Colour, Legendary Super Warriors.

There's a new rumor going around the net claiming that the "Shin Budokai: Another Road" game is actually the US version of "Harukanaru Goku Densetsu". But I find that hard to believe since it just doesn't make sense. Then again the whole idea of another Shin Budokai game doesn't make any sense either.
Yeah this has to be false as the Shin Budokai series is made by a different developer than this game and plus it's on the PSP when this is for the DS. Also why does another Shin Budokai game not make sense to you? Why do you find it odd that DIMPS would want to release a sequel to Shin Budokai? They did it with the Budokai games on the PS2, so why not the PSP.

^even I would not pay 40-50 bucks for a DBZ on a Portable game system (unless it was REALLY good) so I bet no one bought the game when it came out, so why make a sequel?

So it doesn't make sense for their to be a Shin Budokai sequel because there aren't any other DBZ games that they've made to port. I guess you could just say Shin Budokai is more like a stand-alone game, which uses Budokai 3 as it's core. So if you think of it like that, I guess it would make sense for them to improve (yet again) what they've already created. Don't get me wrong, I like DIMPS work on the DBZ series, and would love to see another game from them.
