Here I am! In New Zealand and everything. Actually I've been here for a whole week now. I still don't have any of my stuff, but it's still very enjoyable here. Anyways, on with the news:
Bandai has announced that several new characters will be included in the Japanese release of "Dragonball Z Sparking! NEO" (AKA Budokai Tenkaichi 2) for the Nintendo Wii; The game is currently set to hit stores accross Japan on Jan/31st/2007. The characters announced so far: Appule, Frieza Henchmen/Soldier (unamed in the series), Emperor Pilaf Robot (with Shuu and Mai), King Piccolo, and Cyborg Tao. A rumor has been floating around that in addition to all of these characters, a new stage will also be added. The level will take place in space and include one of Frieza's ships.
Several online retailers have started listing a new DBZ video game set for a release of March 20th 2007. The game is titled "Dragonball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road" and (judging by the name) seems to be somekind of sequel to the original Shin Budokai game. This is quite surprising, but definitely something fans can look forward to. Nothing else is known except it will be for the PSP, and will indeed be developed by Dimps. the current list price is at $39.99USD. Also it's probably worth mentioning that the first website to start listing the game was Gamestop.com (just like with the original Shin Budokai a year ago).

I would be happy if I could play this on my Wii but its region locked so this sucks for anyone that does not have a Japanese Wii.
