Kame Box!

As I posted earlier last month, Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen Mae Hashutsujo("Kochikame" for short), the longest running manga series in history, is now celebrating it's 30th year anniversary! And to celebrate, the series creatorOsamu Akimoto has released a special box set -- which includes a book entitled "Cho-Kochikame" ("Super Kochikame"). Earlier today, I got my hands on Super Kochikame -- here's some pictures:

The book part of Super Kochikame features an in-depth interview with Akimoto-sensei, as well as a large amount of new manga; Essentially, it's a tribute to Osamu Akimoto and his work, put together by many different manga-ka. Akira Toriyama even contributed to the book, creating a 9 page manga with Osamu Akimoto. Feel free to ask any questions about this set in the comments

I heard that Kuboi tite, contributed to this piece of work. Could you describe it to us? or better yet if it is a manga a couple of pictures?

It was hard to find since most stores were no longer selling it. I don't remember the exact price, but it was something like $109USD.
