Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Cover Art

Cover art for the upcoming video game "Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2" (known as "Dragonball Z: Sparking! NEO" in Japan) has been released! It's still a ways off, so it's very possible these are just drafts and will be different when the game hits stores (strategy guide cover can be seen on the left, video game cover can be seen on the right).

I apologize for the small video game cover, but it's the largest (and only) one available at this time. Now let's get to the Monday Screenshot update!

Ugh. That cover really needs alot of imroving. It looks like they just used a screencap from one of the Dragon Ball Z episodes of Goku vs Cell. I'm glad it's only a draft.

Anyway, heres the Japanese box art:

Much better imo.

Well Atari are a bunch of morons then.
That's the Budokai 2 cover, because it's already out as the Budokai 2 game cover. They would not re use an old cover from one game as the new cover for a different game.

Plus, the game is called Sparking Neo. As you have already seen, the cover is above. Sparking Neo is wrote in big bold english letters.
The American one, known as Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is written in English words with new font and stroked with a big black border.

The cover you have posted is Budokai 2, the Budokai 2 from the Budokai game series. This is obvious from the fact that the stock used for the bottom of the cover is art from the Budokai 2 game. The Budokai logo and font is different and it says Budokai twice, one in English and one in Japanese.
