If you missed it at Comic Con this weekend, you’re in luck. Below is the 1st look trailer at Samuel L. Jackson in AFRO SAMURAI!
Afro Samurai Trailer: Medium | Large Created bu Takashi Okazaki, Afro Samurai debuted 1999 as a short manga series found in the Japanese underground collection "Nononhow". Five episodes are being produced and will air this fall on Spike TV. But that's just the tip of the ice berg, next year will see the release a 300 page graphic novel with art from Okazaki, as well as a video game published by Namco (set for a release in October for the Xbox 360 and PS3). On top of all that, there's also plans for a live action movie of the series!

....i really....
I don't know if i'm supposed to take it seriously. Sure you have blood everywhere and this dark surrounding but right in the middle is this wierd looking guy with a giant afro. One way to kill the mood. Oh and at the end, when you heard Sam talk, i really hope that was unfinished working in progress. Because that voice acting at the end was aweful imo not to mention there was a echo, but the echo might just be because it's not edited in properly yet.

Some live, some die, some anime franchises are whored in the way of the samurai... the samurai. Seriously, how many samurai shows are there now? Samurai Seven, Samurai Champloo, Basilisk, Samurai Gun. The list can go on. This will either be a good project or a failure. Hopefully it won't be a complete failure I've heard each episode cost $6 million to make.
