Another post already?! Yep! I told you I've got a bunch of news I wanted to post this particular article this morning, but I didn't have time.

As of today, "Battle Stadium D.O.N." releases in stores accross Japan! At this time, there aren't any plans on releasing the game outside of Japan (except maybe China); Even with all three of the series the games offers being well distributed around the world.

If this is your first time hearing of "Battle Stadium D.O.N.", I'll explain a little about the game. It offers a wide selection of characters from three different anime/manga series: Dragonball Z, One Piece, and Naruto (hence D.O.N.). While it's considered to be like "Jump Superstars!", "Battle Stadium D.O.N." combines some elements from DBZ, One Piece, and Naruto games into a new unique fighting system.

Before you make your order, remember that this game is in Japanese! Also, even if you buy the game, it won't work on a regular Playstation 2/Gamecube. Like DVDs, these game are region encoded, and will only work on NTSC/Region 2 systems. Products do exist to hack your console into thinking the game is in your region, but I'm not going to get into that.

It defintely doesn't play like Jump! SuperStars.

It plays similar to Super Smash Bros. And in a way it does play similar to Jump! Superstars because of the combo mechanics like doing 1 combo but having different direction button combos.

I was going to say "Super Smash Bros." originally. But I decided to change it because "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja" is in many ways very similar to Smash bros.

Hmm, i dunno. You could but Narutimate Hero has a few differences such as counters, super sequences and a variable button scheme. You could say it's similar due to items, and the combo system is near close. Tricky.
