Default The (Rushed) News Tidbits Post

I just got my copy of the latest V-Jump, and Shonen Jump Weekly about an hour ago. I don't have time to post any scans from them today, but I should be able to by tomorrow. I only have a few more minutes to type this up so.... on with the post! -- lots of little pieces of news put together into a single post!

As I've already posted about before, Playstation 2 game "Super Dragonball Z" will be seeing an English/North American release. FUNimation has just released the (U.S. version) of the cover for the game (which can be seen above). I'll post a larger version when it becomes available. New videos for "Super Dragonball Z", and upcoming GBA game "Advanced Adventure" can be downloaded on the links below:

» Video 01 -- Super Dragonball Z
» Video 02 -- Advanced Adventure

FUNimation has also released the cover art for the next volume in the Dragonball Z "Ultimate Uncut Special Editions" line. Usually much larger images are available when I post about upcoming DVDs, but this time this is as good as I could do. This volume is set to release 09/05/06.

Right before each of the DBZ movies hit stores in the U.S., FUNimation would release a special "website" dedicated to that movie! Yes, I'm sure most of you are familiar with this. So, I'm sure you must also know that about a month after each of these movies released, the special sub-site would be taken down. Well, now (for the first time), all of these websites are back! Click on the image above to view.

As said in a recent post by Anime News Network, "veteran voice actor Toru Furuya will attend Anime Expo on July 1 and 2, according to his official site." Toru Furuya was (among many other roles) the voice of Yamcha in the original Japanese version of the Dragonball, Z, and GT anime series.
