Democracy on a message board? Lol.
Membership is a privilege, not a right. --- I'm of the opinion that the only Dragonball Manga scans that should be allowed should be legal, official translations, and no more than a page or so for the sake of the pointless debates that never end.

I like the new rules. Nice balance! :]
-salutes- I salute you Ace. Because, my dear, you've provided a nice balance for both extremes I think. :D |

Although, I did find the old rules and the level of strictness according to which they were enforced absolutely rational. Apparently most people didn't think so... but whatever.

I have always been a fan of loosening up the rules. I don't understand why bumping old topics is so shunned, why have two topics on the same subject?
Basically I think a young DBZ fan should be able to register and have fun posting, not get bitched at by 9 different people because they posted in the wrong section, or made a spelling mistake. Report the post or PM a mod people, your input on the broken rules (which usually result in posts with no relevance to the topic, thus are spam) in such thread are not necessary. Overall I like the rule updates, great job, but as Duo said, this is NOT a democracy, and it should be noted that the owners have the last word and can edit posts, suspend, or ban anyone they wish for any or no reason whatsoever. (As the member agreed to on the Terms of Service when they registered, is this not correct?)

Bumping old topics is not against the rules. As long as you have something to add, you should feel free to do so.
If anyone tells you otherwise, please either refer them to this post, or have them PM me. |

I'd say not ... unless they say "blank wins because ..." and gives a reason for why they think that. It basically has to have something that will illicit a debate or be engaging. If all it's going to do is get the usual, "why the hell did you bump this for that?" then no ... it's not worth the bump.
