That's not a half bad idea, Island. Though I don't want it to be more work for Ace then it'd have to be if we get one sometime. So between Goku and I we could go through and weed out the one's worthy and the one's that are not pretty easily and quickly.

We didn't do this a year ago because at the time Community Server looked very promising. However, we found out the hard way that looks, most definately, can be deceiving.

Because we thought CS was going to get better, only to end up being a community curse seal level 3 mark...meaning it sucked the holy fucking fun out of things. Consider this forum 7 gates being wielded by Gai.

It's my fault.

I really hoped CS would get better a lot faster than it did. The underlying technology is great, but the problem is that the CS team sucks.

I also didn't think I could get PHP to run well on Windows (going back to Linux would be a huge maintenance nightmare for me).

The second issue took longer for me to figure out than the first one.... The last time I tried PHP on Windows with even a small app, it was a disaster. Zend recently did some work with Microsoft on that, and now things are much, much better. This actually wouldn't have been possible a year ago -- at least not in the way that I ended up doing it.
