I've been liking the darker skins better....

If there's a downloadable / buyable skin you like better, please post a link here and I'll have a look.

Pretty nice. I'm more partial to lighter skins, usually a blue grey or blueish theme on them but as far as dark skins go I like it. Also I don't think we've had a truly dark skin on mfg before so I think if there are options to personalize which skin users see as on old versions then this would be a good option to include.

I'm definately liking the darker style because I sit at work all day starring at bright backgrounds. So it would be neat to have a darker one. I know DragonBallToys uses a dark one and so does Code X, both Member's of vBulletin. So I think darker backgrounds might be the way to go here.

I like Punxx's idea though, where we could set it up so Member's could choose between different backgrounds. It is possible.

The current default skin would still be available, which has a lighter theme.

Once we've identified one or more new skins, the next question is which one should be the default.

I've been looking around for some free skins and have found quite a few. But which version are going to? Is it 3.6? I imagine it would be. But damn is it hard to find really appealing skins. There are some cool pay ones but it would be nice if we could get a really nice one for free.

Oh that's pretty cool. It beats the monotonous blue and gray standard any day.

I prefer a darker skin as it's easier on the eyes. Besides that, it's a fitting change after all this time.

Yeah that's about the average price out there. If you're keen on paying a bit I'll have a more in depth look at the paid skins.

Personally I'd prefer a lighter skin color like with white or blue.

A custom skin would be superb and much more unique. I'll help out with the funding but we really should have our own.

That sounds great, actually, a custom skin.

I always imagined a Dragonball/Z-based Skin by using Dragonballs as Icons, Chibis, etc. Well, for that theme. Since the board also runs Naruto2 and Bleach2, why not include themed Skins for them? That sounds farfetched, yeah, but we'll find someone who'll eventually create a free skin for a board with over 10,000 members.

This is a great idea, Raven.

I think the ideal MFG would have a DragonBall related skin, as well as, a Naruto and a regular looking skin for those who aren't into Anime. The reason I don't have a Bleach skin included is because the Bleach website was taken down, and there isn't very much activity in the current Bleach section. So I don't want Ace to waste his time making a skin people won't use. If the Bleach section picks up, then I'd be all for it.
