I am sure some of you may have noticed the little change under your Username and Avatar by now. The Moderator's and Admins have voted (8-1) to get rid of post count and replace it with a new post count system, called User Ranks. So as of now, the post count system is out, and the user rank system is in. Below you will find what the rankings are, in chronological order; however, these ranks are what were used on MFG FoRuMs v3.0. Don't worry though, at this very time us Staffers are working up a new/better ranking system because as we all know DragonBall Z is a thing of the past. So please bare with us for the time being.

By donating a certain amount of cash to the site. Don't ask me what the amounts are though because the Board Founders had that all set up with the old version of MFG. I'm not for sure if they even carried that over to this version or not, but by the looks of it, I don't believe they did.
Edit: Well, I was sort of right, and sort of wrong here. I've currently talked to Sharky about the donating page and he said Ace will get that back up and running in the next few days. So, I guess they are going to be carrying over the donating page/ranks/ect. Until then, please bare with them. Thank you!
I also will bring up here, that GANTZ 2, will no longer be coming to MFG. Sharky has said the person who was going to run that site, decided not to. So there will be no use for it. They apologize for any inconvinence this may cause to the Members.

Uh oh. Remember what happened before when we had ranks? About 60% of the newly joined members and a few of the less intellectual ones all complained and kept asking about how to change their ranks because they weren't happy about being a Hero, Human and such.

@ JerrodDRagon: Yeah, that is a very good question. Maybe sometime in the future we will know what 'My Reader' does, but as for now, it will still remain a mystery.
@ Jammy: Yeah, that did happen in the past, but with the amount of Members we are still down from the last version of MFG, will make it easier. Plus this is a pretty new system to everyone. So maybe we'll be lucky and not have newbies asking how to change it. Well, at least for a while anyway. And I'm sure if they do start asking, we'll have plenty of people around to explain to them that it can't be changed by them. The more I think of it though, I can't really remember all the 'trouble' it caused on MFG FoRuMs v3.0.

It's nice that we now have rankings, but...
...was it really necessary to get rid of the post counts?

Also, why did you stick to the old rankings? Why not mix things up a bit with some new stuff, rather than the DBZ rankings? I mean, this isn't some cheap, subliminal attempt of mine to get you to use Naruto rankings (*cough* ;>_>), but...this isn't an all-DBZ board anymore. Something less DBZ-related would be better... (*cough*)

The major reason we don't use both is because Community Server doesn't allow you to have both. It is Post Count OR User Rank, Ultimatesaiyajin JC.
As ZerO stated, and as I had previously posted, these rankings are temporary. Currently we are working on making a new ranking system. Don't know if you overlooked that, or just didn't read the earlier posts, but if the latter is the case, I'd suggest reading them all next time. So we can avoid having to re-say what was already said.

Question: Post ranks are based on number of posts or post points? And what are the numbers of post (points) for each rank? Currently, I mean. Will those change or is it just the names of the ranks that will change?
