Agreed. JAIF should've chosen what he said a little more carefully. However, there's nothing I can do about that, though all it really merits in any case is a simple "Hey, that's not nice."

I don't know anything about that, but I DO know that DS was harrassing members (Empathy included) via PM. And if Empathy was being an asshat, there are other ways to deal with people like that then being led along by them.

Alright guys, give it a rest.

DS was suspended yes. He came back from his suspension with another account. Not good. On that other account was an IP address from a previously Banned Member. All these factors contributed to the perma ban status.

As for the vast amount of hate going on, it's a double edged sword. We do what we can to crack down then get bitchy topics telling us off for being a police state. We go lax and then people cry about the ridiculous hatred around here. We do the best we can to take the middle ground.

I'll personally get the mods on the same page immediately after this post. Stop the BS argument, or take a new topic to the gas chamber.

Granted that quite a few people disliked DS, how many besides just Empathy actually went out of their way to bait him (assuming Empathy did bait), hm? And what about all the people here who apparently actually liked him?

Honestly, he didn't have that much going against him, and as I said, there were other ways Empathy could be dealt with. As I also said, though, I don't know enough about it to make my own clear judgment, so I can't say anything like "Empathy was the bad guy"; but if that was the case, he would've been dealt with instead if DS had been a little more savvy.
