Why can't I neg rep some1 twice in a row for 2 stupid, consecutive posts? I don't WANNA have to spread reputation because there's not that much on this forum I find rep worthy and it's usually the same people.

Also, is it possible to change it to where you can edit in text games without a time limit so I can add to my rules in my question thread when I have to?

Lol. I doubt there would be a change in the neg-rep situation. Mainly due to the fact that there would be some morons out there who would sit and click the neg-rep button over, and over, and over, and over, and over... because they can.

I think that instead of having to rep X number of other people before you rep someone again it should be a time limit like say I could rep Pirate then I could rep him again 24 hours later without any repping in between.

I don't mine not being able to neg rep the same post twice. I was reffering to the same person posting 2 posts and both deserve a neg rep. I just don't like having to go around repping 20-30 people I rather don't like just to rep 1 person who said something worth it. It's annoying as hell.

Yeah I can understand your frustration. Unfortunately I can guarantee you that a lot of people would completely abuse the Neg Rep option if it were much laxer than it is now. And from what I can see it's not something we can adjust manually for individual accounts. What I will do though is see if I can work out something that's a little more lax.

I'll see what I can do.

The authors of vBulletin intended reps to be given against users, rather than against specific posts. That's why they don't let you rep multiple posts in a row from the same user.

The only controls they provide in this area are the maximum number of reps you can give per day, and the minimum number of users you have to rep before you can rep the same person again. Both are currently set at 10.

The time limit for editing posts is currently set to 200 days. Unfortunately, it can't be overridden on a forum-by-forum basis.

After that time, rather than editing your rules post, you might consider just starting a new thread.
