There are two ways to fix the artifact:

Re-code the header section, probably replacing the existing background graphic in the process.

Or come up with a new logo graphic with an opaque background.

If someone would like to propose a logo to replace the one that's there now, by all means, please do. It's 207 x 78 pixels.

FWIW, I like the third one the best. However, my taste in fonts doesn't seem to match up well with other members.

Maybe we should put it up for a vote?

I originally thought the ad on the right side would be good to help fill up the white space. After using it for a while, though, I think it's too much.

So I've removed that ad and replaced it with one at the bottom of the page.

I also moved the Rep Power icons down onto a line of their own, for both skins.

EDIT: I put one of the new logos up. I tried a few -- the lighter ones show up better with that dark blue background. Hit refresh on your browser to see the new one (or possibly control-refresh).

not much it's good and i like it it's dark... only thing is my firfox addons that stop ad's don't seem to work.. but that might be because they require updates... =/ i give it's current WIP as a 7/10 lacks anpother colour maybe red or blue for borders and stuff.

Ahhhh, it could be that Ace has re-coded something to make the ads less blockable. Because we rely heavily on them to subsidize the bills that MFG racks up he might have gone that extra mile.

Yeah I'm pretty confident Manic will come up with a very nice final product. From the updates he's given me it looks great and it's nowhere near finished so it should be very nice.
