Un-subscribe to threads

I turned of the thread subscription option in my control panel, nut im still receiving e-mails to inform me of new post in each thread. How do I fix this? Im tired of receiving,like,40 e-mails every hour!

Go to Edit Options in your User CP.

Then there should be a box that looks like this:

EDIT: Here we go-

Just choose No email notification, as shown.

In your User CP, click on List Subscriptions. Then select the subscribed threads that you want to change, and use the drop-down box at the bottom of the page to either remove the subscription or change it to a different type.

I also changed the default subscription type to not send emails. I don't ever recall setting it that way; that's a bad, bad default.
