I was about to post in the off-topic lounge on my post-count thread to serve as a "rebuttle" to Engel's post(lol), but the damn server wouldn't cooperate, saying this bullcrap:



I mean, what the fuck? I posted, like, 120 letters, or "characters" if you will, and the damn thing comes up with "ZOMGZ YOU DIDN"T POST SHIT."

Even when I went "Advanced," it didn't do shit. Rather, it deleted what little I already had written, and lucky I took the screenshot beforehand, because otherwise there would be nothing to serve as evidence to this..atrocity. Another glitch in the system? Or is Ace restricting my posting ability with this? If so, please take some action to rectify it, because I can't leave that thread unanswered. :D.

I cant see the whole post but are you just quoting something then typing or is it a full post ?

A full post. You can see almost the entire post(as it is a rather terse one), just blocked out a tad by the walls. There were no quotes present.

2. Yeah, probably was. I was able to post without much difficulty the next time, so..just as a precaution it doesn't happen again, I beseech of the admins to go and rectify this.

I can't tell what happened in your case -- it might be a glitch (it's certainly nothing directed at you).

The two character minimum doesn't include any quotes or bbcode, so if you just posted a quote, you can get that response.

FWIW, I always copy my entire post onto the clipboard before I hit submit, in case of glitches, which are unfortunately relatively common with my ISP.

Like I said, I didn't post quote, or anything of the sort- you can see the entire post verbatim, right there, barring the walls blocking out a bit of the last and first lines.

And sadly, I can't seem to copy-paste stuff from the clipboard, and I'm waay too lazy to go and type up something on Word. Might just be my computer fucking up, but if it's something with the site, please rectify this also. It's annoying how if my internet fails or glitches, I have to type everything all over again.

That sounds like a browser problem. You might try a different browser to see if that helps. Or a trick that I use is to click in the edit box first, then hit control-A to select everything, then control-C to copy. I know in Firefox at least, trying to use the mouse to select all of the text doesn't work like it should.
