Posting a two word answer to a thread that's over a year old does not equal a worth while contribution. Generally speaking reviving threads aren't against the rules although I think they should be since it doesn't accomplish anything...

I personally see no issue with reviving old threads. As long as he/she is not spamming, any member should be allowed to post anywhere he/she wishes.

Us Administrator's have talked amoungst ourselves in the past about this issue and we pretty much came to the conclusion that it isn't against the rules to revive an old topic, but your post should have worthwhile meaning to it.
