Vbux Bank??

I'm currently a member of another forum that uses vb as well, and it has a system called the Vbux bank...it's an option found on vbulliten.

The Vbux bank is a system of points one gets from posting, earning rep, and ect. You use these points to buy items on Vb (not real items) for you or others, and special privlages. You can put these points in a bank and let interest build up.

So, would it be possible to do this on MFG??

I like the sound of it, but it depends on what we can "Buy".

Casino! :D Or arcade, doesn't matter. I know Bleach and Naruto mania use vB and just installed a casino in it recently.

If this system were to be adopted, we'd get even more post-whores than we already have, not to mention it's not entirely justified to make a system where you buy stuff using crap you get from the amount of posts you have, which means newbies or people who registered again like myself without getting their accounts merged would be at a disadvantage. So overall, no, I'd say I'm against this idea. Keep the forum as it is, it's fine as is already.

I'm in the same boat as KuroiKenshi. One of my main reason's against it is because it'd be popular for awhile, but I could see it eventually dying out. Plus it might be too complicated for some Member's that they'd shy away from it. I don't know how complicated it could get (thinking not vary), but the Gaming System with tokens Ace came up with I don't think really has gotten anything because people think it is too complicated.

The Vbulletin one isn't that complicated. I'd be for it, you can have an arcade, bet on sports events, use your points to buy special forum capabilities for a week, etc. The possibilities...
It'd give us something to do at 4am too lol
