I'll get to the point: My PM system is being a mincing, limp-wristed queen. It says I have 41 messages stored out of a possible 50, yet I have like...9. I've been deleting all but the same few PMs each time my inbox nears filling, but the number out of 50 keeps going up each time (for example, it was 36 out of 50 at one point, but it's 41 out of 50 now). For starters, why does it say I have that many, when I have nowhere near that many, and second, why is it that I keep the same old PMs, but the number out of 50 keeps rising by a little bit?

Oh, and you staffers keep your mod claws off ma topic title. Srsly, it's clever, and you're always changing them... ;>___________>

Your Sent Messages counts as a PM, as does any replies in the Inbox.

Therefore, if you send a message and receive a reply, you have 2 messages saved.

I just increased the PM limit from 50 to 250 messages.

Yes, sent messages count toward your quota. Check out the red and orange bars in the little meter graphic -- I think red is "this folder" and orange is "other folders".
