Quiz addition?

I think there should be a quiz that tests your DBZ knowledge which counts towards your rank. This would be a lot better way of ranking, because it shows the wisdom of the person rather than how many posts they have.

Just so you know, Dragon, there is already a DBZ Quiz in progess. I'm not sure where it is, but it is likely to be located in the Text Games section. Or there may have been one in the Dragonball Z forum section. Either way, I don't really see a good reason to have an idea like this one.

I dont really see the point in having this, for one. Cheating would ensure that everyone would have the highest marks and therefore have the highest rank.

Furthermore, there is enough debate that revolves around just about every little aspect of Dragonball that would cause upsets to some members complaining that their answer and so forth is correct.

Ya Spank just pointed out the major flaw, some people think they're so bang on right that even if they're wrong they'll argue it to death. It happens all the time on the forum, that's why the FAQ thing had to be made there.

Oh and a lot of people that participate here have nothing to do with DB/Z/GT. Like Spank and Myself among countless others I don't particularily care to mention at this point in time. I've just found better things like Naruto or FMA or writing fictions to use my time on this forum for.

This in my opinion is a good thought, but not a feasible idea.

To me this just sounds like someone who dislikes having a "Human" rank and is jealous of people with a large rank like Super Saiyan 3 or something.

Why have ranks in the first place? They don't mean anything and half the time just wind people up.

This seems like a good idea, but like some of the others said, there are members who don't like DBZ. If they were to use your idea, dragonslayer, they should also do other quizes with other shows. That way, a member could decide on one quiz to do for their rank.

Truth be told, I wouldnt care if my title said I was the worlds weakest warrior. It wouldnt affect how I post at this place or anything like that.

Its just a novel idea which helps to encourage people to post, even if it does eventually lead to people spamming for new titles.

Personally I'd prefer to get to a stage where we have custom titles. Be it for members who are mod's or those who have just been here forever or something >_> I dunno...

Having a test for it is a lil redundant seeing as this forum is also a part of the NARUTO site. I wish I could say we draw people in with gfx but then i'd just be dribbling crap v_v sigh; either way, quiz = no.
