there have also been (independent) reports of active military duty on US soil October 1st.

Even if it is all BS, try to put something worth reading into your posts, this isn't the GC.

With the economic crisis it would be relatively easy for Bush to suspend the elections and activate US military units for homeland operations. We'll have to see how this early story develops during the coming weeks.

Martial law is very serious thing hell even in more oppressive societies (Rome comes to mind) they balked at it until they had absolutely no choice (carthage..sulla etc etc)

this would also be all over the place and they wouldn't be giving this speech then having every other word "classified"

the fact that theres the onion sing there too..sort of kills any credibility this video has as anything other then a parody or joke


they didn't as far as i know even declare martial law during world war two..and that was a hole hell of allot worse then whats happening now

i would love to see those reports...and who wrote them too..because there allot of sources that just are terrible..and theres a thing (which is also historically proven and a real problem) called yellow journalism

if it is true its horrible..but it seems pure grade non sense i;d like to see some credible sources covering this (main stream media etc )

really? because i don;t remember them doing it during the nineteen eighties when things where just as bad if not worse...

or during the great depression either...in fact i kind of remember it being the exact oposite in times like these historically the president is usually harshly opposed and passes very few..extreme acts

world war two being an exception because of ya know pearl harbor making it kind of impossible..to not declare war on japan and disagree with FDR
