No, you don't get it. You hire who can do the job best, this has nothing to do with race. Nothing. As Kuri said, "Nobody should hire a weak black person for a physically daunting task because black people are typically strong. That's just stupid."

That's not what this topic is about...at all.

It's about an active effort to improve the employment or educational opportunities of members of minority groups and women ; also : a similar effort to promote the rights or progress of other disadvantaged persons. Aka, Affirmative Action.

I know exactly what this topic about. And I just went with the flow of the conversation. But its a fact, you'd be prejudiced in favour of hiring black people for manual labour because they are strong. If two equal strength different race people came up then you might hire one or the other, but overall you would hire more blacks then others.

If you really insist that I'm wrong, then I could just say your prejudiced in favour of strong people over weak ones. Its all the same.

If two people exactly the same except in race and gender walked up to me, I would pick one or the other. The fact that I hire more of one race just shows that more of those people come to work here and more of those people are better at it than others. You wouldn't even put the race into consideration, would you? It'd just turn out that way, right?

I'm insisting what you're saying makes no sense. Prejudice against weak people who would make my company suffer? Seriously?

What the fuck are you talking about? You're derailing this topic into your misconstrued view of what Affirmative Action is. This is when groups go out of their way to hire or accept minorities as a way of paying a debt for shit they went through in the past, even if they themselves hadn't actually gone through anything.

It has nothing to do with physical strength or hiring somebody on a stereotype. Stop posting that, Jed.
