Meh, I've been hearing it's going to end December 21st 2012 (Or something along those lines) because something's going to shift... I can't remember, but apparently the weather's going to be many levels worse than any hurricane we've seen.
Could be a bunch of crap for all I know, though. |

It's likely crap.
I've lost whatever little interest I had in these apocalypse bribes ever since nothing happened at Y2K. Seriously, I really believe it will be something never predicted, never mentioned, never heard of unfortunately.

I watched a documentary on this yesterday, actually.
Apparently it isn't just the Aztecs who predicted the world would end in 2012. One of the oldest Chinese books Something-Il predicts very similar things in the future. Some scientists took the book's fortune telling things and graphed it out, apparently it predicted the ups and downs of the world. Meaning, when the graph was down on a certain time period, something bad happened. For example the fall of Rome. Anyways, it stops at 2012. =/ Also, Merlin and some other people have made predictions that are nearly the same, including Revelations. Not that they say it will end in 2012. But if all of these are so similar, and two of them predict ending on 2012, seems reasonable. I personally don't think anything will happen. But I will be watching.

Well, I’m optimistic about the future, and I’d rather not worry about the sudden extinction of all life on Earth. I’d rather imagine a future where the solar system is in the process of being colonized, and we are living on the moon, Mars, Venus, and a few other worlds. However, if I had to predict something, it would probably be war. I imagine nuclear war could destroy a very large percent of the world’s population. There’s also the chance of some super virus being unleashed, like a deadly virus that spreads as fast as a cold. Climate change is also a threat, as is the chance of being struck by some large meteor from space. It got the dinosaurs, didn’t it? It’ll probably get us unless we find some technology to blow it up in space. But then is the problem of the fragments, providing they don’t burn up in our atmosphere (providing we still have one. DX) I dunno. Nobody can predict the future, and I’d rather not listen to some half-baked prophets who thought the world was flat. >_>
