-While heated debate is encouraged here, do refrain from directly flaming, trolling, or using racist remarks against other members. Infractions will be given immediately if this happens.

-Let's face it. Making insinuations about a member's intelligence or viewpoint validity is something many of us will be itching to do at one point or another when somebody makes an ignorant statement. It happens. This is acceptable, but only if you can deliver a good argument along with it to keep the topic going smoothly. Failure to do that will most likely just result in post deletion.

-Only post if you feel that your post will actually contribute something to the topic itself. Unnecessary, off-topic and spam posts will simply be deleted.

-Before creating a new topic, make sure that there is not already an existing topic for what you have in mind. A lot of issues have been covered in various, much older topics. Many new members have joined since then, so bumping an old debate topic will most likely revive it.

These rules can be changed at any time, it would be in your best interest to keep up to date with these rules. Not reading them is not an excuse for not obeying them. Do not disagree with the mods in this section, full stop. Halcyon, Inu and Manic have the final word on everything in here. It is their job to interpret the rules, they are not responsible for your mis-interpretation. Remember that.

I went through the first 50 pages of the Lounge and moved all debate topics I saw to this board. Everything seems a go.

I just had a look and either you missed some or just skipped them. If you find any that I moved that you don't want here just lock em or move em back. Anything older than 50 pages seems like a waste of time because well, the forums weren't at all the same back then.

Yeah, going too far back would lead to many duplicate topics. I think a couple slipped through, but those aren't a big deal. It's possible I missed some while skimming through, so throw any others you think belong here into it. Also, if anybody else knows a topic(s) that should go here, PM me the link(s) and IT SHALL BE GRANTED.

The rules are pretty simple. Don't make short, crappy posts and you shouldn't really have anything to worry about.
