O what I have seen all of Notstro's predictions have been connections.

But Nostro lived in the 1500's and he was predicting stuff that happen hundereds of years in advanced, so he probobly did not fully understand what he was seeing.

He basically saw a bunch of things, and wrote what he thought he was seeing.

So as far as I know their is not something that he predicted that we have yet to make a connection to.

You know, everyone brings up some very strong points here, guys. Personally, I don't believe the world will end unless something besides a black hole is linked to it.

But, then there is the issue of what Niku will/might say upon his entrance to this topic.

Back on topic, no the world will not end. They were wrong about 2000.

And, just in case you were wondering, did Nostradamous predict ~~Hister~~ Hitler's early suicide?

^Whut the fux is "Nibiru 2012"...?

@Black-holes: they have been confirmed by recent studies and there are indeed giant ones in the center of some galaxies (posisbly ours). The sun is "2/3rds out" from the "nuclear bulge" (center of the milky way and possible location of said "super-massive black-hole".

The point is, there is no way in heck we'll cover the remaining 1/3rd in 4 years. So black-hole apocalypse it isn't.

@Prediction: I can't agree or disagree. Recent events in history just keep showing something might happen. And if you say "no prediction has ever come true" then you...have srsly got to brush up on your history. LOTS of things have turned exactly the way some people said them. Muhammad, for example, predicted that Abu Bakr and Umar would be his successors (in that order), that Umar would face a calamity, and that Ali would be worshipped the same way Jesus is by the Christians.

I think when they say "no prediction has ever come true" they mean the Apocalypse predictions. The evidence being...the world hasn't ended yet. =/

You wonder how people who believe prohecies like this an prepare for it, feel after the date has come and gone and nothing has happened.
Like some possibly zealot person who tore themselves away form society and prepared himself for what he/she believed was the end of the world and then the clock strikes and the peep out their window and are like "wtf...why am I still alive?"

Isn't 2012 supposed to be the passing of galactic center and the magnetic poles will shift and earthquakes will destroy civilization? That's what I heard anyways.

If so, there's nothing we can do so we might as well just chill in the meantime. =p

Someone will probably stumble upon this topic in 2013 and go "Oh, lol."

I remember sorting through my junk mail one day when I was lead to a site "THE WORLD WILL END *some random date*" and I was reading this like... three years afterwards.
