There's actually a lot of different school systems.

The average one however is the Elementary, Middle School/Junior High School, High School setup. Elementary usually having Kindergarten-5th grade (sometimes 6th), Middle school having 6th-8th (sometimes 9th), and High school having 9th-12th. And that's it!
