MFG is like the third crush on someone.

It's not like the first, because you were foolish, the second you were trying to get over the first one and used the second as a distraction, and then the third you're hoping will be a charm, but you end up losing interest and then try to salvage what you can of the relationship because you don't want to let go.

Does that make sense?
