C++ is kinda old now. I've been programming in C# for years, cos its more useful for comps. C++ is today kinda only used for programing mobile phones.

None. I made Hello world once in C++. It was easy to learn. Python, on the other hand, would be harder for beginners to learn. Thus, C++ is better for beginners.

I'm learning (Hearing the teacher sputtle out the same thing every semester) Java in college, but am currently using ActionScript in my occupation. Never cared to make any application in Java. I'll probably start to program games in action script, though, when my boss shows me some more of the server technology and MultiUser stuff.

Might as well make this the official programming thread.

I'm currently learning how to program in OpenGL through some books I've acquired. I'll probably use that to attempt to make games (2D and 3D) sometime.
