Most people with dwarfism unfortunately seem to be naturally cursed with a variety of health problems. One of the most common problems are bad backs. The inside of my spine was narrow and if the inside of it wasn't cut to make it wider the nerves would pinch and I would've lost the use of my legs entirely.
So I had one surgery, and the doctor didn't get everything out because he didn't wanna "filet me like a fish." A year (or was it two years? Gah.) I had another surgery to finish the job because I was still having problems. Less pain the second time around which was nice. It did fix things, but it also made other things worse. But oh well, what'cha gonna do? |
