Tell me, am I wrong for...

My best friend in this state has liked this girl who has the same name as me for the past two and a half years. They kind of dated, about a year ago. He stopped mentioning her for about 11 months, and recently started talking about her again. Well, last night we went to her house and we all got drunk off Yuengling. The girl ended up kissing all four guys there, including my best friend and I on numerous occasions. I asked him immediately after she kissed me, and he said, "I don't give a shit," thought I still think he does, ya know. So I'd like to know if it's wrong of me to kind of have feelings for this girl, knowing my best friend's history with her. Let's hear it.

Well... you need to talk to him, not at the party. Get him to speak candidly and make him know how important it is that you know. 'Fess up about your feelings and come to a decision with him. It's not worth risking a friendship for.

I would not really go so far to say it is WRONG. D= I mean, you cannot control your feelings. It's not like you wanted to like her, you know? However, what you do .. like if you choose to go out with her, while your best friend is also clearly trying to do the same thing, would be erm not good for lack of better word. & cause much drama more than likely, aha. >.>;; That is all I can really think to say at the moment, sorry for not being much help. xDD

Hai, it's been a while.

Second of all, I would say that you need to just ask him. Not us. It's not WRONG, but if you want to like the girl, he can't really stop you. Just tell him you're at least trying to consider his feelings.

Its not wrong to have those feelings but you got to talk to your friend about that. Really force the issue on him since chances are he's lying.

Yeah, I don't post that often anymore. I don't use the internet that much nowadays, but I'll stick check up every now and then and make sure Lord_Sloth or JC aren't getting out of hand.

But, to add another negative to the situation, the girl is moving an hour and a half away in a week. I'm thinking about talking to her before then about it, but I'm not really sure at all.

On with the advice, though. I'd say, you should totally go for it. Maybe you should ask your friend first to give you a straight, honest answer but if you feel for her who's gonna stop you?

Well, we're not 13 years old, so I understand that girls like to fool around, too. I shouldn't be mad about something that happened in the past. But I know what you mean, that's why I doubt anything will come out of this whatsoever.

Good point. Personally, I wouldn't.

Anyway, on the matter of topic I do not think it is wrong at all. You said you were all drunk when you asked your friend, right? Then I'd advise you to talk to your friend when he is normal and sober and ask him again. If the answer is the same, then go for it.
