I just quit my job. The boss is an asshole. I realized that a while ago, but there is always something that makes it too much. When that dude used to make me work 1hour of overtime without paying me, I let it slipped, when he punched my card without my agreement I let it slipped, over the last 2 months I worked for about 30h of overtime without getting paid because that guy always asked me to do the job when I had already punched. Today he called me an idiot and a liar, I didn't insult him, I kept my cool, did what I had to do this day, told him goodbye and left. I'm not the type to lose control nor to throw insults back at someone. Now I can say what I had in mind. Robert FUCK YOU! Treat me like shit if you like because pretty much all bosses treat their employees like shit, but stealing me money and calling me a liar is pushing it.

I'm going to do whatever I can to avoid a career where I have bosses constantly on my ass like that. I just can't handle disrespect to my face, from anyone. I would have made a crude mark about his mother's nighttime job and then quit.

At our age it's like that. We're in the bottom, we don't worth much, you'll spend a good part of your life licking the ass of your boss hoping to get a promotion. The boss used to lick the ass of his boss before being your boss. It works like that. All the shittiest jobs are thrown to us and we must do them, our bosses could just decide to throw us out for random reasons and we couldn't do much. I don't mind being treated like a pile of shit because everyone will go through this but whenever my money comes into play, I can't let it slip.

The last (first) job I had was working in a petrol station shop and the boss there was a dick. I was never actually fired, they just stopped giving me hours. Then he confronted me in the shop a month later and threw some random allegation about me disrespecting the other people working there. He also said he'd fired me because I leaned over the counter when I was working there. Prick.

I got my own back though. He was never employing me legally, and I was getting cash in hand. Reported the bastard.

Crap, where I work, there is a 2 day course about dignity at work.

Get yourselves Civil Service jobs. I've been there 4 years and I have not heard anyone shout in anger. Not once.

I've got a job actually, at a theatre doing Sercurity and Box Office. I gave the Theatre Resturant a whirl, but it's fucking shit working in a Resturant. Anyway I'm fine as I am at the moment. I never rave for the High Life.

Maybe once I get a degree and a job that means something, I'll rake it in without realising it. But I'm not too fussed.
