Think of it this way.

You see someone driving down the road and up ahead on the road is a brick wall. You naturally expect the person to make the preset reaction of either: swerving out of the way AND/OR braking. The brick wall is a factor that altered the person's course.

Now imagine life as a road filled with an infinite number of factors, and the factors keep changing, adapting, and growing.

Essentially, if there was someone who could study life from the beginning of existence, they could technically predict the future because life is just a preset course changed by factors.

TL;DR: Life is an equation.

Okay, this is just getting retarded. Take it from Ockham, most of the time the simplest explanations are the best. Think about it, you make the decision for everything you do. Sure, there are things that influence your decision, but only because most humans happen to think logically and make the best (or sometimes, the best for the moment) decision they can. Goes along with that whole "sentient" thing.

Read it. This 'Free Will' is just a collection of molecules and ECM fields etc that react in a certain way, based on information gained.

The only way to truely answer this question, is to take someone into a room, and ask them to choose from a 52-pack of cards which are face down. At that exact point, before he even sees the cards, time is split into 100 paths. If he chooses the same card in each timeline, there is no free will. If he chooses a different card even once, there is free will.

But how to organise such an experiment...
