People, you need to be on your toes when cops approach you. There have been reports of pseudo-cops driving cop cars, pulling females over, and then beating or sexually mistreating/abusing them. I'm not stating this to the norm, but this has been in new jersey and a guy at work told me about it, that it had happened several times. I'm not saying fight an officer for no reason, I'm saying be prepared at all times. Just because it's a cop doesn't mean you should be not smart enough to not defend yourself if the above case takes please. Just a subtle word of caution.

You need to check local laws, but here (UK) if you wanted to check the legitimality of a cop, it shouldn't be too hard. They have all the time in the world and a real cop would not mind you calling the station and checking their badge number/ID. Ask them to turn their radio up and get control to radio a message out that they are legit.

I don't have my driver's license yet, but I'm working on it. My car is sat outside, and I'm just waiting for the opportunity to go out in it again =D
