You could always get mechanical legs, like that one soldier got, Ranny.

Then again, such things would be very expensive to buy. That one soldier was an exception because his robotic legs were paid for by the government. However, you could always make your own legs. But, due to your most likely meager salary, you'd probably have to make them from cheap materials. This would be fine if you only used them rarely, but since you seem dependent on your legs, so therefore, you 'd probably use the homemade artificial legs a lot. In no time at all, while you are walking, the homemade artificial legs would break causing massive damage to your already severely damaged stub legs. You'd also fall face first on the floor. Since you probably live in the city, the floor would be an extremely hard pavement sidewalk. You would be forced to because the sidewalk would now be covered with splinters from the cheap wooden remains homemade artificial legs. Keeping your body on these splitters would be extremely painful, so you'd obviously move, via crawling. Unfortunately, the sidewalk would probably be littered with glass and garbage that really stupid fucks left behind. So, therefore, every time you crawl, you'd get glass and shit on your body. Since people who use this sidewalk are in a hurry, they'd probably just step on your body. After an hour, however, someone would actually notice you. This person would just gape at you like a moron, and then that person would make a huge deal about it. Much more people would come, but they would just point at you and screech and babble like chimpanzees. Eventually, someone with some sense and a brain cell will notice you, and they will call an ambulance and possibly the police. Days later, the doctors and surgeons will patch you up. Unfortunately, they will tell you that you have AIDS, because, out of all the stuff you landed on, a used hypodermic needle would have been one of them.

So, yeah, fuck what I just said.

I would choose legs. I have more use for my arms than for my legs.

I'm not saying that it would be an easy choice. Loss of legs would make life difficult, but so would the loss of arms. Or rather, loss of legs would mean a life with hardships, loss of arms would mean a far duller life. And a dull life is hardly something I would prefer.
