I saw the south park episode and was like "They can't possibly believe that crap" but the subtitles kept saying "This is what they actually believe".

But then I remembered that the bible talks about talking bushes and people splitting the sea and...well let's just say that aliens seemed to be quite as rational to me and money is always involved so...

Isaac Hayes, who was a voice actor for Chef, is a Scientologist. He got butthurt from that episode and left the show. He claimed to Parker and Stone, that Scientology isn't anything like that.

Anyways, I don't see why you insulted Christianity in the first place. I mean, you didn't even pick on religions in general. It's like you have vendetta against it or something. By the way, it's not the beliefs like that that make Scientology unbelievable. It just...looks too much like a scam. =/

But to answer you're question, no I don't believe in thetans. You know, I don't believe the Six-Fold Path to end desire, either. I don't follow the Five Pillars of Faith. You want to know why? None of them are of my religion. It's as simple as that.

I was brought up with Christianity so I have the right to criticize it. I will not yield just because you and many others have this special imiginary friend. Being old doesn't make it right. And yes, Scientology can be compared with Christianity but not with Atheism as Atheists don't believe in the supernatural. Get your facts straight.

Believing in the supernatural is illogical, believing in science isn't.

Plenty of Christians have been brought up in Atheism but that doesn't give them the right to look down on it.

Also, I'd prefer it if you'd stop referring to God as an "imaginary friend". It's actually annoying. Also, denying the existence of a god requires just as much faith as believing in one. Also, would you note how all the prophecies of Jesus came true. What are the chances of that happening by chance? I believe in Christianity because it makes sense to me. You happened to decide that it didn't make sense to you, but does that make you any better?

But really, I hate these religious debates. All that ever happens is getting angry at people I'd otherwise get along with. Let's end this here.
