I spent the past two weeks in your country, and I have to say, it was kind of nice. I have a few complaints, though. The biggest zoo in Germany is shitty. It rained everyday at the exact same time. Your food is lousy, but at least you have some nice Italian restaurant around town. And the people were bitter. No one smiles in Western Germany.

I come back and we have another Serious Debate forum? Dammit... just what we need, ANB and Chuckles arguing about 9/11, Area 51, and the War in Iraq. Yay.

In which cities have you been? And of course nobody smiled, Germans don't smile. And zoos are always shitty, the whole concept of a zoo is fail. As to the wheather, it's raining right now, just as it did yesterday and probably tomorrow.

I arrived in Frankfurt, and then we drove into Kaiserslautern, where my brother lives. We picked him up and drove into Paris. We pretty much stayed around the Frankfurt/K-town area. It was cool, though. No strawberry fields, but I did some wine tasting in some underground cellar. There are a lot of Turks there, but at least they make decent food.

I like inland Europe.

Germany is an awesome place. Most people passing through never really explored towns or areas of interest in Germany. They usually only see pineforests, lots of pineforests, feels like Poland most of the time. Germany is great, the people and the culture. The police, however, worry me. Not because they are law enforcement, but because they seem to be the only people in Germany that smile, and too many of them have beards.

You'll love England.

I didn't see a single police officer in Germany. However, there were a bunch of French soldiers below the Eiffel Tower with unloaded guns.
