Hunting or Fishing?

Does anyone hunt or fish? Just curious.

I caught a few river trout the other day by my house. Nothing too big though.

Hope there's no greeners out there who are against killing animals...

I used to hunt quite often few years ago. Mostly ducks and grouses, but sometimes rabbit as well... It would be tempting to go hunting again this fall, since I really haven't hunted much in last few years. I started hunting when I was 13, or so...

Fishing has never been my thing. I don't really even like fish.

I hunt/snare rabbit, and have a tree stand built for deer. It's a nice and relaxing activity.

Me and my father go hunting sometimes. Fishing is not bad either.

I went fishing once, it was like watching paint dry, never been hunting, don't feel the need to go out and kill an animal when I probably wouldn't be allowed to do it here anyway, since I can just go the supermarket and buy whatever I need, if I ever got the chance to kill an animal, well... I probably wouldn't, don't care if people do it either.

I've went fishing before, I wouldn't mind either. But I prefer fishing if I could choose between both.

United Kingdom, hunting is banned in general, be it for fun, sport, food, etc. Everything is now banned, Fox hunting got banned only recently too, like a few years ago, IIRC. I have to be honest, I've held a gun before, but never fired one, there's probably nothing to it, but you know how it is for a first timer handling a weapon you're all "Fuck..." I could probably kill something, but at first I'd be shocked... then realize how easy it was and wouldn't effect me much afterwards.

When you fire for the first time, it will hurt your arms a bit, especially if its a hunting shotgun. At least that happened to me, but I was like 10 so maybe I was just weak.

Though a guy I used to be friends with killed a squirrel that was injured with a pen knife. He was a fucked up guy.
