Looks like MSN is reading a virus or somesort and closing it so it doesn't spread. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. If that doesn't work, find everything MSN in the windows folder, uninstall, and genocide by hand what's left over.

It might also be a rootkit, so check for those as well. If problems continue, do the aforementioned in Safe Mode.

You can always turn off DEP for a particular app once you're sure it's not a virus:

Control Panel --> Advanced --> Performance Options --> Data Execution Prevention

I think it was just a Vista quirk. Said he fixed it by running it as an administrator.
